Ipseok Juldarigi (Tug of War)

It is a tug of war played in Ipseok, Jeonra-bukdo. It is said that it has the meaing of praying for a rich year after building Byeokgoljae, and also since there is a small region of ridgeline connecting 'Dangjae' and 'Tokijae' in Wolchon-myeon between Dongheon, Gimjae and Byeokgoljae, which is the place of bad energy, it has started to avoid the bad energy by setting Seokju (totem pole).
It is not known when it started, and it is the war between not villages but sex. To make up for the weak strength of female team, the young boys wearing hair in a plait belong to the female team.
