The novel 'Arirang' is the work of Jo Jeongrae
who wrote 'Taebaeksanmaek' and made the 'Taebaeksanmaek' syndrome
in 80's. The writer who was evaluated with his literary and
popularity spent his last 5 years on this work. 'Arirang' is
the history of Korean people.
'Arirang' is writing the history of struggle and sufferings
for 10 years after Donghak Revolution. It is from 1905 when
Eulsa Treaty was signed to the 1945 Liberation of Korea. <To
know where we have to go, we need to know where we are from>
Around the 50th anniversary of the Liberation, this book will
give the feeling of the spirit for the independence, and will
